Recently, at the site of the Yulong Petrochemical Refining Integration Project (Phase I), Shandong Haiguan Lifting Engineering Co., Ltd.'s 2000-ton SCC20000A Crawler Crane successfully completed the capping of the flare tower. Standing at an impressive height of 168 meters and weighing a total of 2100 tons, this flare tower is currently the tallest in all of Asia.
The flare tower installation was divided into eight vertical assembly segments using a modular lifting approach. The first segment used a foundational assembly method, while the remaining segments from two to eight employed the SCC20000A crawler crane. The "single crane lifting and rotating method" was utilized to complete the lifting tasks, which spanned over a duration of 45 days.

On-site, based on the height and weight of the tower, the SCC20000A was outfitted with a 108-meter main arm, a 108m+60m tower-type jib, and a 108m+90m tower-type jib, tailored to handle the installation tasks of seven segments. The operation was carried out with utmost safety and efficiency throughout its entirety.
This successful endeavor not only showcased the prowess of the SCC20000A crawler crane but also marked a significant milestone in Asia's petrochemical industry.
